Servings: 6
- 1/2 small red onion
- 1 small red bell pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 package refrigerated thin-crust pizza dough 11 oz.
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 oz. deli-sliced ham cut into 1”-wide strips
- 2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend 8 oz.
- 1/2 cup baby spinach leaves
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Carefully slice the red onion into thin slices, about 1/8 inch thick. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into thin strips of the same thickness. Set these aside for the toppings.
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper.
Coat a 17"x11" rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Unroll the pizza dough and press it evenly into the edges of the pan.
Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the top.
Evenly distribute the ham, cheese, sliced onion, and bell pepper strips over the dough.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
Once out of the oven, top the pizza with fresh spinach.
Cut the pizza into 6 pieces and serve.
